Excess phosphates in water is one of the main causes of unwanted algae infestations in marine systems.
Unwanted algae can invade corals and some disadvantaged organisms, as well as affect the aesthetics of the aquarium.
Phosphates are usually introduced into the system when RODI (Reverse Osmosis) water is not used.
This resin will allow you to control these high levels of phosphates.
In reef aquariums its use is recommended only in adjustment periods so as not to affect other trace elements in the long term.
In aquariums only fish can be used for long periods.
