TUNICH ADDITIVES

Ca Kh & Mg macroelements for Arrecife.

Macroelements are essential for the correct growth and development of corals and some organisms with a calcareous skeleton. For this reason, their concentrations must be constant to be available to the demand of corals or coralline algae.

These additives are suitable for manual addition or with a dosing pump.

They are ideal for reducing water changes in reef systems with medium or advanced level aquarists.

Before using a macroelement addition system you must have a formal salinity check. Measure salinity using a refractometer (Not Hydrometer), verifying that the readings are at the same temperature and have an automatic filler installed to replace the water lost by evaporation.

This is due to the fact that the readings and tests of macroelements vary at different salinities and, in turn, salinity oscillates according to temperature variations. In nature there are constant variations in all these parameters according to climatic changes, but in closed systems it is necessary to measure under equal conditions in order to calculate consumption doses.

Well, an erroneous reading or in systems with variable salinity can lead to deviated readings of macroelements, erroneous calculations and finally ionic imbalances that alter the stability of the system.

To use the TUNICH additive system, it is essential that you know the consumption of macroelements in your system through weekly tests of Ca, Mg and KH.

If you do not have all of the above at the moment, the ideal for you is a system of microchanges with Coral Grow salt or regular changes with the Marine Reef Pro line.

Remember that alternately when reducing water changes you should try to maintain trace elements by introducing them in different ways:

- through microchanges of water (Semester 20% or Quarterly 15% or monthly 5%),

- using biochemistry: Hanal Aban line phytoplankton nourished and food for fish and corals in general

- or if you prefer with the additives in dropper A1, A2, B

Thank you for taking care of your Reef!
